Between June 6 to 13, in the Pedestrian Passage from the University, in Bucharest, Arhitext design Foundation organized a series of events that put architecture in the spotlight! We offered to the general public the opportunity to interact with quality architecture and with the architects invited , in an unconventional space that helped us convey the idea of having to stop, even for a moment, in this world that is always in motion.
Thus, in the very center of the busy city we created a relaxing environment, contributing to valuing a public space characterized by a distinct cultural dynamics and a constant influx of people, the Pedestrian Passage from University Square.
During the event you we have exhibited the international architecture exhibition Fluencies (a critical approach of the Central and Eastern European architecture), we have created a lounge where people stopped and read magazines, books and albums of architecture. The architects invited have dialogued with the people present and raised questions about the role of the architect in the daily life of the citizen. Alex Adam, Roger Pop, Mario Kuibuş, Adrian Soare, Marius Miclăuş, Silviu Aldea, Lenka Kremenova, Adrian Spirescu, Maja Bâldea and SYNN Architekten have made presentations regarding their architecture and their demarche and had people stop and listen carefully to their ideas.
In the Pedestrian Passage of the University during June 6 to 13 people connected to the architecture with attitude!
