AXIS Architects was established in 1990. Many of our members took part in the activities of the Visegrad Architects camps, taught, held courses at home and abroad, participated in national and international exhibitions.
Our activities are:
The company owned by five architects: Ferenc Salamin, Miklós Salamin, Zsolt Tusnády, Csaba Varga and Gabor Erhardt.
Our company mainly carries out the general design of buildings. Our buildings are built around the country, our special design area is Tokaj (Szerencs, Tokaj, Mad, Tarcal), the Danube Bend (Zebegény, Nagymaros), Budapest.
Planning tasks are primarily public buildings (schools, swimming pool, the mayor’s office, clinic, school, college, church, service building, etc) and renovations (hotels, shops, monuments, etc), agricultural and industrial buildings (wineries, manufacturing plant, warehouse, horse plant, etc), but we are planning residential houses, apartment buildings and villas is.
We make architectural documentations, budgets and other related documents for EU and regional applications. Our clients are the government, private companies and private individuals.
Beside planning buildings, we make interior plans, regulation plans, and control the constructions. Our members work as chief architect in Szerencs, Nagymaros, Zebegény and Budapest. Our office is a member of Karoly Kós Association.
We hope that our buildings are intimately tied to the place of the region spirit, and they are continuing the character of the existing building or the environment, human-scale and habitable. Our continued presence is important during the construction, so that the buildings will be built up in a high quality. Equally important the close and often friendly relations with the clients and constructors. Most of the buildings built around in the country, we attach great importance to this, we feel that the development of countryside ensures the future of our country.
